OUR HISTORY
New York Spine Institute (NYSI) was founded in 2000 by Doctor Alexandre B. de Moura, a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with advance training in the bone and neurological disorders of the spine. The son of an orthpaedic surgeon, Dr. de Moura followed in his father’s footsteps. His vision was for NYSI to become what it is today, the most comprehensive, multi specialty Spine & Orthopedic Institute in New York.
